On February 20, 2014 the Westview Community Organization sponsored the second monthly “Third Thursday Westview Pizza Night” events at Westview Pizza Café. It allows neighbors to come together and socialize in a non-meeting setting while supporting a local business in addition to providing an opportunity for people interested in moving to the neighborhood to get to know the residents.

On the **THIRD THURSDAY** each month we will gather to socialize at the Westview Pizza Cafe.
This will be a chance to get to know your neighbors in a casual environment and support a locally owned business. Have kids? You can meet other families and setup play dates! Don’t have kids? You can meet neighbors to invite over for dinner (and drinks)! This is a chance to get to know each other and hang out.
If you don’t live in Westview but are interested in moving to the neighborhood this is a great opportunity to meet people that do live here. Just one warning – once you get to know the folks living here you won’t want to look anywhere else! Seriously, we have some awesome neighbors.
We’ll provide one cheese and one pepperoni pizza to get things started. After those are gone you’ll have to purchase your own.
Please mark your calendars and join us!

The Westview Community Organization held its annual holiday potluck luncheon at Fire Station 17. The WCO cooked a turkey and neighbors contributed delicious side dishes. The party is a nice way for neighbors to share a family-style meal, spend time together in a non-meeting setting and reflecting on the past year.

On Saturday, June 22, 2013 Westview held its sixth annual Westview Summer Solstice Celebration. The event once again took place along Muse Street in the northwestern part of the Westview neighborhood, adjacent to the Atlanta BeltLine corridor.
Once again seven grillers battled it out for the title of “Best Chicken/Ribs of Southwest Atlanta” – Beecher-Donnelly, Capitol View, West End Neighborhood Association Residents, West End LGBT Alliance, Kisha representing Westview, and Scott representing Westview. Voters decided the titles for the “Best of 2013” would go to:
Best Pork of Southwest Atlanta – Capitol View
Best Chicken of Southwest Atlanta – West End Neighborhood Association Residents
