**PLEASE NOTE** – Due to filming going on in the Westview Village, Westview Pizza Café will be closed on the regularly scheduled “Third Thursday” pizza night in May. In turn the social gathering will be postponed to Sunday Brunch on May 24, 2015!

Not all neighborhood activities have to take place in the neighborhood. On a beautiful Saturday in November the Special Events Committee organized a hike for Westview neighbors at Sweetwater Creek State Park. The park is just a 20 minute drive from the neighborhood and allowed neighbors to enjoy a quick afternoon getaway while socializing with fellow residents.

Pathway Christian Church, Calvary United Methodist Church, the John Perdew Legacy Project, and the Westview Community Organization work in collaboration on a weekly lunch open to all persons in the community, focused on providing a meal for those in need. On November 26, 2014 a special Thanksgiving meal was served.
