The Westview Community Organization is planning a hike on Saturday, November 22, 2014. We will be hiking at Sweet Water Creek State Park, which is west on I-20 in Douglasville. Everyone will meet at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 1471 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd, at 12:00pm and carpool to Sweet Water Creek State Park from there. The entry fee to the park is $5.00 per car.

Neighbors got together, as every third Thursday of the month, to enjoy pizza at Westview Pizza Café. We are especially fond of the photo of our two new dads – who coincidentally dressed like twins for the evening!

On the **THIRD THURSDAY** each month we will gather to socialize at the Westview Pizza Cafe.
**In December we will feature a special UGLY SWEATER edition!**
This will be a chance to get to know your neighbors in a casual environment and support a locally owned business. Have kids? You can meet other families and setup play dates! Don’t have kids? You can meet neighbors to invite over for dinner (and drinks)! This is a chance to get to know each other and hang out.
If you don’t live in Westview but are interested in moving to the neighborhood this is a great opportunity to meet people that do live here. Just one warning – once you get to know the folks living here you won’t want to look anywhere else! Seriously, we have some awesome neighbors.

On Sunday, May 18th, the first monthly Westview ice cream social took place at The Big Apple Inn. Neighbors came out to brighten up a rainy Sunday by indulging in some home made ice cream, supporting a Westview business, and chatting about the latest happenings.
